On a beautiful autumn day in Washington, D.C., soccer fans mingled outside of RFK stadium prior to the championship match between the Houston Dynamo
and the New England Revolution at MLS Cup 2007. Soccer Celebration, MLS's interactive party before kickoff celebrating the game of soccer,
was in full swing as fans participated in a variety of soccer-theme activities. TEAM Coalition was present, snapping free souvenir photos of fans
who had made the Responsibility Has Its Rewards pledge. TEAM Coalition partnered with Major League Soccer and Anheuser-Busch for the event, getting the message out about the importance of designating a driver, buckling up, and demonstrating
positive fan behavior.
TEAM Coalition was also excited to welcome the winners of the Responsibility Has Its Rewards MLS sweepstakes for the 2007 season.
Kristin Fabbri, the designated driver for the season of the New England Revolution, and Joseph Yeado, the Houston Dynamo's designated driver for the
season, were present as part of their prize package which included airfare, hotel and tickets to MLS Cup. Click here to view a recap of the 2007 MLS RHIR sweepstakes.

US DOT / NHTSA 2006 NATIONAL DATA:
- In 2006, 15,121 people were killed as a result of alcohol-related (BAC > 0.08) car crashes
- Many, if not most of those lives would have been saved if people did not drive
when they were impaired by alcohol or if they used sober, designated drivers or if
they simply wore their seat belts.
- Statistics and research clearly show that 21-34 year old males are the demographic
most likely to be involved in an automobile crash, drive when impaired by alcohol, and
fail to buckle up.
